The Big Issue Foundation

The Big Issue offers some of the most excluded people in the country a unique opening to take some control of their lives and earn a legitimate income. Vendors make a personal choice to buy their magazines with their own money, taking charge of their finances and sales whilst developing the skills required to retail to the public.

The Big Issue Foundation wanted to improve their online fundraising activity and proposition. Their existing website was dated and slow with an inconsistent look and feel between the various sections. It had no content management system and had poor SEO value. Over time it had fallen behind other charities in terms of social media and online fundraising tools.

We delivered a new Drupal website that Big Issue staff can manage themselves through an intuitive content management system. The site has improved on-site SEO and a consistent look and feel. It has improved donation and event landing pages that will increase conversion and it has better supporter tools for users to promote the great work of the Foundation.
